Flooring Installation in Saskatoon
Supply and install, or install of your own materials, with the subfloor preparation that determines how the finish lasts.
Overview
Most flooring problems start below the flooring
An uneven, moving or damp subfloor will telegraph through whatever is laid over it. Preparation is the part of the job that is invisible when finished and responsible for most failures.
We assess and prepare the subfloor before installing, and we will tell you if a floor needs work you were not expecting rather than covering it and hoping.
What this solves
- 01Existing floors are worn, damaged or moving underfoot
- 02Levels between rooms do not meet cleanly
- 03A renovation needs flooring coordinated with the other trades

Questions
Common questions
Either. If you supply it, we need it on site and acclimatised before installation. If we supply it, it appears in the estimate as a stated allowance.
Sometimes, depending on the existing surface and the resulting height at doors and transitions. We assess it rather than assume.
Below grade, moisture tolerance matters more than anywhere else in the house. That usually points toward vinyl or tile rather than laminate or solid timber, but it depends on your specific basement.
Flooring needs time in the room to reach the ambient temperature and humidity before installation. Skipping it is a common cause of gapping and buckling later.
