Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026
5aab Construction Ltd. respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have. It applies to this website only. It does not cover information you give us in person, by telephone, or in the course of a construction contract, although we handle that information on the same basis.
1. Who we are
5aab Construction Ltd. is a general contracting company based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. For the purposes of this policy we are the organisation responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Our contact details are at the end of this policy.
2. What we collect
We collect two kinds of information.
2.1 Information you give us
When you submit our contact form we collect your name, telephone number, email address, the subject of your enquiry, and the content of your message. When you submit our quote request form we also collect the location of your project, the service you are asking about, your approximate budget range, your target start date, a description of the project, and any photographs or documents you choose to upload. Both forms require you to confirm that you agree to us contacting you about your enquiry.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you submit either form, our website records the IP address of the device you used, your browser and operating system details, the page you submitted from, and the date and time of submission. This information is included in the notification we receive and is stored alongside your enquiry. We use it to identify and prevent automated spam submissions.
2.3 What we do not collect
We do not collect payment information through this website. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not collect information about you unless you choose to send it to us.
3. Why we collect it
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, to prepare an estimate, to arrange a site visit, and to carry out any work you subsequently engage us to do. We use the automatically collected technical information to keep the website secure and to filter spam. We do not use your information for any other purpose without asking you first.
4. Consent
Both of our forms include a checkbox that you must tick before submitting. By ticking it you consent to us contacting you about your enquiry. You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us using the details below, and we will stop contacting you, subject to any obligations we have under a contract already in place between us.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for marketing purposes. We share it only where necessary to operate this website and to respond to you.
5.1 Service providers
This website is hosted by a third-party web hosting provider, and enquiry notifications are delivered by email. Your submission is stored in the website database held by our hosting provider and is transmitted through our email provider. These providers process the information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
5.2 Subcontractors
Where a project requires a specialist trade, we may share the information necessary for that trade to price or carry out their portion of the work. We share only what is required, and only after you have engaged us.
5.3 Legal requirements
We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
6. Where your information is stored
Website submissions are stored on servers operated by our hosting provider. Depending on the provider’s infrastructure, these servers may be located outside Canada. Where information is stored or processed outside Canada it may be subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access requests by courts or law enforcement in that jurisdiction.
7. Cookies and third-party content
This website uses functional cookies that are necessary for the site and its forms to work. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. This website loads typefaces from a third-party font service, which means your browser makes a request to that service and your IP address is visible to it as part of that request. We do not receive or store any information from that service.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you and, where you engage us, for as long as is reasonable in connection with that work and any subsequent obligation. If you ask us to delete your enquiry and we are not required to keep it, we will.
9. How we protect it
This website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to submissions is limited to people who need it in order to respond to you or carry out the work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.
10. Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask for a copy of it, to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, to withdraw your consent to us contacting you, and to ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
11. Children
This website is directed at adults arranging construction work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
13. Contact and complaints
If you have a question about this policy, want to exercise any of the rights described above, or wish to make a complaint about how we have handled your personal information, contact us at info@5aabconstruction.ca or (306) 612-0099, or write to us at 2949 Miners Ave Bay #2, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan S7K 4Z6. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
